Flying in the post-lockdown world

India’s aviation authorities have come up with draft norms for resuming commercial flights, media reports said, citing a ministry document. Passengers will need to fill out a detailed coronavirus-related questionnaire, show 'green status' on the Aarogya Setu app, and reach the airport at least two hours prior to departure. Web check-ins and temperature checks will become mandatory, and no cabin baggage will be allowed during the initial period. The draft rules propose keeping the last three rows vacant to isolate suspected Covid-19 cases, but are silent on empty middle seats.
