"It is easy to borrow and lend if we are ready to ignore long term consequences. Challenge is to take the benefits to the right destination for which the Government machinery is ill-equipped. Interference with the working lending mechanism of financial institutions only shows we have not learnt our lessons from high NPAs of Public sector banks. What the Government best can do in this time of crisis, is to create the right ecosystem for business to operate by exempting them with cumbersome compliance of multiple laws including labour laws and allowing them to defer their statutory payments."
